I'll let you know when we figure it out, but we're still torn on the baby's name. It took us two days after Adeline's birth before we finally chose a name and it seems like this one is headed the same way. When Addie was born we were down to two names, Adeline and Stella. Tim liked Adeline the most, yet I was still crazy about Stella. After trying out each name for a couple days once she arrived, we ultimately chose Adeline.
This time, I think we're down to a solid two names again. One is Austin (which we've shared with most of you), and Tim wants to keep the other a secret; although, he said I could give you a couple clues. Here are two clues to get you guessing:
1. The cultural origin is Old English
2. A famous historical figure holds this name
The secret name is Tim's favorite of the two and last time his pick won, so we'll see what happens in a couple weeks, or sooner. I found this name while looking through an alphabetical list and asked Tim what he thought. He immediately loved it. Neither of us has met anyone by this name, but I know of a musical artist that sports it. My two hesitations are 1) I might get bored of it since it's unique name and 2) the literal meaning of the name is totally insignificant. Still, I think it's a solid, positively uncommon name with a neat spiritual meaning.
Although we currently prefer Austin and the unrevealed name, we also like the below options and are still considering each. I love the meaning of names and included that as well.
