I LOVE that Addie chose broccoli for a snack this afternoon, out of everything in the refrigerator. I know that most toddlers are picky eaters, but so far this girl is doing a phenomenal job of eating a huge variety of foods and she's continuously willing to try new things. I hope she keeps up with this trend! I'm not a very open-minded eater, and I would like her to be the exact opposite. When she first started on solids, we followed the Feeding Baby Green book, which suggests introducing baby to as many different fruits and veggies as possible. When grocery shopping, I tried to choose foods I was unfamiliar with, or don't like (along with the traditional produce), and Addie enjoyed just about everything. Now that she's eating what we eat, I could certainly do a better job of exposing her to more adventurous foods because I don't cook too many exotic foods, but at least she eats everything I make! Here's to hoping that continues!
